Dwelvo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

This policy explains how Dwelvo("we"), the data controller, handles your personal data. Contact us at privacy@dwelvo.app.

What we collect

Your email address (for magic-link sign-in), the display name you choose, and the content you create, rooms, tasks, decisions, and photos you upload of your home.

Why, and our lawful basis

We process this data to provide the app to you, running your household, syncing it with the people you invite. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We do not use your data for advertising and run no tracking or analytics.

Who we share it with

We use these processors to run the service: Supabase (database, auth, photo storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (sign-in emails). Each processes data under a data-processing agreement, in the UK/EU.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export or permanently delete it at any time from Settings.

Dwelvo households are shared. Content you contribute, rooms, tasks, decisions, and photos, stays with the household for the remaining members after you leave or delete your account, so the people you renovated with don't lose the shared history. Your own account, email, and display name are removed when you delete your account.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and erase your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Use the export and delete-account tools in Settings, or contact us. Export covers the home you currently have open; if you belong to more than one, switch the active home and export each. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we handle your data.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies, your sign-in session, a preference for which household is active, and a preference remembering the room you last added to. No advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is needed.
